Program Description:


TECNUN, University of Navarra offers students within the College of Engineering opportunities to take Engineering courses while studying in San Sebastian, Spain for the summer.

San Sebastian, Spain
San Sebastian (also called Donostia in Basque) is a cosmopolitan city, medium (about 180,000 inhabitants), open to the sea, and very renowned for her beauty and aesthetic appeal size. Located on the coast of the Cantabrian Sea, 20 kilometers from the French border, San Sebastian enjoys a mild climate.
Host Institution
The University of Navarra is a Catholic University founded in 1952 and has recently been ranked among the best by “The Herald Tribune” and ranked as the 4th best Spanish university in Europe according to the Times Higher Education QS University Ranking. Tecnun is ranked as the 1st private Spanish Engineering Schooland it is 3rd in global ranking, according to the Spanish ranking in “El Mundo”.


On the summer program at TECNUN, students are able to study the courses offered on this particular Summer Program track. You will earn transfer credit on this program.
Students are highly encouraged to get their Major, Minor and GE courses pre-approved prior to applying to the Exchange program.
Major Courses: Provide the course descriptions to your Academic Advising Center/Faculty Contact to determine the course equivalencies and how credits will transfer back.  Students are highly encouraged to consult with their academic advisor/faculty advisor to complete any necessary paperwork prior to applying/departure.
Minor Courses:  Consult with the Minor Department to discuss the best way to seek course pre-approvals. 
GE Courses: Students may pick up the GE Course Substitution for Study Abroad form at International Center (Bldg 52, Rm E-32). Please provide the course descriptions of the GE courses you wish to have approved when submitting the form.  Allow four to six weeks to hear back about substitution approvals.
