We have a multitude of advising resources to help you navigate the study abroad process at Cal Poly, including drop-in advising hours, virtual appointments, and an interactive, group workshop! These resources are here to guide you through every step of your study abroad journey - From finding and applying to your ideal program, to learning how to get courses pre-approved and what to pack!
 

Study Abroad 101 Workshops101 module computer

All students are expected to begin their study abroad journey with a 101 workshop and are responsible for the information covered. These workshops will guide you through critical steps in the study abroad process, such as goal setting, financial and academic planning, program selection, and the application process. You will also have the chance to begin your Pre-Advising Module, which is required before you can access Study Abroad Advising Services. 101 Workshops are offered regularly throughout each quarter (excluding academic holidays, finals week and breaks). Register for a session below!

Study Abroad Tabling for Winter Quarter 2025: Join our peer advisors each week on campus to talk study abroad and learn about the different programs we have available! We will be tabling every Tuesday from 11am - 1pm over at the University Union (UU) during most weeks. Note on 01/28, 02/25 and 03/11, we will be tabling at the Baker Science Patio between Building 52 and the Baker Science Building 180.
