Im Cecilia ( She/They), and I'm a fourth-year anthropology and geography major with a concentration/minor in biology! In Spring of 2022 I was able to study abroad in Peru. It was an amazing experience where I was able to learn a lot about Peru's past as well as the different cultures within Peru. Studying abroad was one of the best experiences I've ever had, not only did I learn things about Peru but also about myself. Major: Industrial Technology and Packaging Minor: Sociology Study Abroad Program: CIEE Open Campus Blocks, Singapore & Italy - Fall 2022 Email: studyabroad@calpoly.edu Hello! I am Sofia Rogel, a fourth-year ITP student from Chicago. During fall of 2022, I spent six weeks studying in Singapore followed by another six in Rome. My explorations encompassed eight nations, including Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, South Korea, the UAE, Bulgaria, and the Netherlands, alongside getting to know each of my home countries. Through my experience abroad, I had the opportunity to not only roam the globe, but I also got to meet myself and explore who I want to become in this world.
